## Abstract

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is amending the animal drug regulations to reflect approval of a new animal drug application (NADA) filed by Merck Research Laboratories. The NADA provides for use of an ivermectin-containing, sustained-release bolus in cattle for treatment and control for approximately 135 days of certain internal and external parasitic infections throughout the grazing season.
