## Abstract

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is amending the animal drug regulations to reflect approval of an abbreviated new animal drug application (ANADA) filed by Planalquimica Industrial Ltda. The ANADA provides for use of nicarbazin and bacitracin methylene disalicylate in Type C broiler feed for the prevention of certain forms of coccidiosis and for increased rate of weight gain and improved feed efficiency.
