Abstract

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is amending the food additive regulations to provide for the safe use of 2-[[2,4,8,10- tetrakis(1,1-dimethylethyl)dibenzo[d,f][1,3,2]-dioxaphosphepin-6- yl]oxy]-N,N-bis[2-[[2,4,8,10-tetrakis(1,1-dimethylethyl)dibenzo [d,f][1,3,2]dioxaphosphepin-6-yl]oxy]ethyl]ethanamine as a process stabilizer for high density olefin copolymers intended for use in contact with food. This action is in response to a petition filed by Ciba-Geigy Corp.
