## Abstract

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is amending the animal drug regulations to reflect approval of an abbreviated new animal drug application (ANADA) filed by Halocarbon Laboratories, Division of Halocarbon Products Corp. The ANADA provides for the use of halothane for induction and maintenance of general anesthesia in dogs, cats, and other non-food animals.
