## Abstract

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is amending the food additive regulations to provide for the safe use of polydextrose as a formulation aid in film coatings applied to vitamin and mineral supplement tablets. This action is in response to a petition filed by Scientific Services, Colorcon (Colorcon).
