Abstract
The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is amending the animal drug regulations to reflect approval of an abbreviated new animal drug application (ANADA) filed by Alpharma Inc. The abbreviated NADA provides for using approved clopidol, bacitracin zinc, and roxarsone Type A medicated articles to make Type C medicated broiler chicken feeds used for prevention of coccidiosis, improved feed efficiency, improved pigmentation, and increased rate of weight gain.
