Abstract

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is correcting a final rule that appeared in the Federal Register of September 23, 1997 (62 FR 49826). The final rule amended the food labeling regulations to establish requirements for the identification of dietary supplements and for their nutrition labeling and ingredient labeling in response to the Dietary Supplement Health and Education Act of 1994 (the DSHEA). The document was published with several inadvertent editorial errors. This document corrects those errors.
