Abstract

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is amending the animal drug regulations to reflect approval of a supplemental new animal drug application (NADA) filed by Hoffmann-LaRoche, Inc. The supplemental NADA provides for use of dry laidlomycin propionate potassium Type A articles for making liquid Type B medicated feeds used to make dry Type C medicated feeds. The Type C feeds are for cattle fed in confinement for slaughter for increased rate of weight gain and improved feed efficiency.
