## Abstract

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is amending the animal drug regulations to reflect approval of a supplemental new animal drug application (NADA) filed by Merck Research Laboratories, Division of Merck & Co., Inc. The supplemental NADA provides for persistent control of gastrointestinal roundworms and lungworms following use of ivermectin injection for cattle for treatment and control of certain harmful gastrointestinal roundworms, lungworms, grubs, lice, and mange mites infections.
