## Abstract

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is amending its regulations to affirm that lipase enzyme preparation derived from Rhizopus niveus is generally recognized as safe (GRAS) for use as a direct human food ingredient. This action is in response to a petition submitted by Fuji Oil Co., Ltd.
