Abstract
The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is amending the animal drug regulations to reflect approval of two supplemental new animal drug applications (NADA's), one filed by Alpharma Inc., the other by Pfizer, Inc. The supplemental NADA's provide for using approved penicillin G procaine Type A medicated articles to make Type C medicated chicken, turkey, pheasant, quail, and swine feeds used for increased rate of weight gain and improved feed efficiency.
