Abstract
The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is amending the food additive regulations to provide for the safe use of 2-hydroxy-1-[4-(2- hydroxyethoxy)phenyl]-2-methyl-1-propanone as a photoinitiator for adhesives and pressure-sensitive adhesives intended for use in food- contact applications. This action responds to a petition filed by Ciba Specialty Chemicals Corp.
