Abstract
The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is amending the animal drug regulations to reflect approval of a supplemental new animal drug application (NADA) filed by Roche Vitamins, Inc. The supplemental NADA provides for use of a chlortetracycline (CTC) Type A medicated article in Type C medicated feeds for chickens producing eggs for human consumption, a tolerance for residues in eggs, and an acceptable daily intake (ADI) for total tetracycline residues in humans.
