## Abstract

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is amending the animal drug regulations to reflect approval of a new animal drug application (NADA) filed by Heska Corp. The NADA provides for use of doxycycline hyclate solution for treatment and control of periodontal disease in dogs by application subgingivally to the periodontal pocket(s) of affected teeth.
