Abstract

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is amending its regulations to affirm that cellulase enzyme preparation derived from Trichoderma longibrachiatum (formerly called Trichoderma reesei) as generally recognized as safe (GRAS) is for use in processing food. This action is in response to a petition filed by the AAC Consulting Group, Inc., on behalf of Novo Laboratories, Inc.
