Abstract

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is correcting a document announcing a public meeting to solicit additional comments on three particularly controversial issues raised by FDA's proposed rule on statements made for dietary supplements concerning the effect of the product on the structure or function of the body (``structure/function claims''). The document, which appeared in the Federal Register of Thursday, July 8, 1999 (64 FR 36824), was published with an incorrect starting time for the meeting and the registration time was omitted. This document corrects those errors. DATES: The meeting will be held on August 4, 1999, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. (registration begins at 9 a.m.). Submit written comments on or before August 4, 1999.
