## Abstract

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is correcting a final rule that appeared in the Federal Register of June 4, 1999 (64 FR 29949). The document amended the food additive regulations to provide for the safe use of sucrose acetate isobutyrate (SAIB) as a stabilizer of emulsions of flavoring oils used in nonalcoholic beverages. The document was published with an error. This document corrects that error.
