## Abstract

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is amending the food additive regulations to provide for the safe use of fumaric acid grafted onto certain olefin polymers, and maleic anhydride grafted onto ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymers for use in contact with food. This action is in response to a petition filed by E. I du Pont de Nemours and Co.
