## Abstract

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is amending the food additive regulations to provide for the safe use of 2,2'-[(1- methylethylidene)bis[4,1-phenyleneoxy[1-(butoxymethyl)-2,1- ethanediyl]oxymethylene]]bisoxirane as a component of epoxy coatings intended for use in contact with bulk dry foods. This action is in response to a petition filed by Ciba-Geigy Corp.
