## Abstract

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is amending the food additive regulations to provide for the expanded safe use of N,N-bis (2-hydroxyethyl) alkyl (C<INF>13</INF>-C<INF>15</INF>) amine as an antistatic agent in polypropylene homo- and copolymers intended for contact with food. This action is in response to a petition filed by ICI PLC.
