## Abstract

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is amending the food additive regulations to provide for the safe use of acrylamide polymer with sodium 2-acrylamido-2-methylpropanesulfonate as a component of paper and paperboard in contact with dry food. This action is in response to a petition filed by American Cyanamid Co. (currently Cytec Industries, Inc.).
