## Abstract

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is amending the animal drug regulations to reflect approval of a supplemental new animal drug application (NADA) filed by Alpharma Inc. The supplemental NADA provides for using soluble bacitracin methylene disalicylate (BMD) powder to make a medicated drinking water for replacement chickens as an aid in the prevention and control of necrotic enteritis.
