## Abstract

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is amending the animal drug regulations to reflect approval of an abbreviated new animal drug application (ANADA) filed by Med-Pharmex, Inc. The ANADA provides for use of 40- and 80-gram packets and 32-ounce containers of lincomycin hydrochloride soluble powder to make medicated drinking water for swine for the treatment of dysentery (bloody scours) and broiler chickens for the control of necrotic enteritis.
