## Abstract

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is amending the food additive regulations to provide for a change in the limitations for sulphopropyl cellulose ion-exchange resin for the recovery and purification of proteins for food use. This action is in response to a petition filed by Life Technologies, Inc.
