## Abstract

The Federal Trade Commission ("Commission") announces amendments to Rule 7(c) of the Rules and Regulations Under the Textile Fiber Products Identification Act ("Textile Rules") to establish a new generic fiber subclass name and definition for a subclass of polyester fibers manufactured by E. I. du Pont de Nemours and Company ("DuPont"), of Wilmington, Delaware. The amendments to Rule 7(c) establish the subclass name "elasterell-p" as an alternative to the generic name "polyester" for a specific subclass of inherently elastic, multicomponent textile fibers defined in the amendments, and previously referred to by DuPont as "T400."
