Abstract
The Federal Trade Commission ("the Commission") issues a final amendment to the Children's Online Privacy Protection Rule ("the Rule") to extend, until April 21, 2005, the time period during which website operators may use an e-mail message from the parent, coupled with additional steps, to obtain verifiable parental consent for the collection of personal information from children for internal use by the website operator.
