## Abstract

This rule delegates to the General Counsel of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System (Board) the authority to approve requests for assistance from, and to share information with, foreign banking authorities pursuant to the Federal Deposit Insurance Act (FDI Act). This delegation of authority is intended to aid in the expeditious processing of requests for assistance from foreign banking authorities.
