The Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System (Board), as a result of an interagency review conducted by the Board, the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), the Office of Thrift Supervision (OTS), the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), and the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA), is amending its implementation of the Uniform Rules of Practice and Procedure for Administrative Hearings (Uniform Rules). The Board's review of the Uniform Rules was conducted in accordance with section 303 of the Riegle Community Development and Regulatory Improvement Act of 1994. The final rule is intended to clarify certain provisions and to increase the efficiency and fairness of administrative hearings.
