Abstract
The Commission issues final amendments of the flammability standards for children's sleepwear in sizes 0 through 6X and sizes 7 through 14. The amendments issued below revise the definition of ``children's sleepwear'' in the standard for sizes 0 through 6X to exclude from the requirements of that standard: garments sized for infants nine months of age or younger; and tight-fitting sleepwear garments. The amendments also revise the definition of ``children's sleepwear'' in the standard for sizes 7 through 14 to exclude tight- fitting sleepwear garments.1 The amendments define the term ``tight-fitting garment'' in terms of maximum dimensions at specified locations on garments in sizes for children older than 9 months through children's size 14. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
