NCUA is revising its rules regarding management interlocks between credit unions and other types of depository institutions. The final rule, like the current regulation, does not apply when a credit union shares a management official with another credit union. The final rule conforms the interlocks rules to recent statutory changes, modernizes and clarifies the rules, and reduces unnecessary regulatory burdens where feasible, consistent with statutory requirements.
