## Abstract

The Federal Trade Commission (the ``Commission''), as part of its periodic review of its rules and guides, announces that it has concluded a review of its proposed Guides for Select Leather and Imitation Leather Products (``proposed Guides''), which combined and amended the provisions of Guides for the Luggage and Related Products Industry, the Guides for Shoe Content Labeling and Advertising, the Guides for the Ladies' Handbag Industry and the Commission's Trade Regulation Rule Concerning Misbranding and Deception as to Leather Content of Waist Belts. The Commission has decided to adopt the proposed Guides, modified as discussed below.
