Abstract

The Federal Trade Commission's Appliance Labeling Rule (``the Rule'') requires that Table 1, in Sec. 305.9, which sets forth the representative average unit energy costs for five residential energy sources, be revised periodically on the basis of updated information provided by the Department of Energy (``DOE''). This document revises the table to incorporate the latest figures for average unit energy costs as published by DOE in the Federal Register on November 18, 1996.\1\ ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
