Abstract

The Federal Trade Commission issues its final Rule pursuant to the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 (``COPPA'' or ``the Act''). Section 6502 of the Act requires the Commission to enact rules governing the online collection of personal information from children under 13 within one year of the date of the enactment of the COPPA, October 21, 1998.
