Subsistence Management Regulations for Public Lands in Alaska, Subpart C and Subpart D-2000-2001 Subsistence Taking of Fish and Wildlife Regulations

This final rule establishes regulations for seasons, harvest limits, methods, and means related to taking of wildlife for subsistence uses during the 2000-2001 regulatory year. The rulemaking is necessary because Subpart D is subject to an annual public review cycle. This rulemaking replaces the wildlife regulations included in the "Subsistence Management Regulations for Public Lands in Alaska, Subpart D--1999-2000 Subsistence Taking of Fish and Wildlife Regulations," which expire on June 30, 2000. This rule also amends the Rural Determinations (Section ____.23 of Subpart C) and Customary and Traditional Use Determinations of the Federal Subsistence Board (Section ____.24 of Subpart C).
