## Abstract

The Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) is amending its regulations contained in 25 CFR Part 11 to add the Santa Fe Indian School property (Southwest Region, New Mexico) to the listing of courts of Indian offenses. This amendment will establish a Court of Indian Offenses for a period not to exceed one year. It is necessary to establish a Court of Indian Offenses with jurisdiction over the Santa Fe Indian School property in order to protect lives and property.
