## Abstract

This rule, in response to comments on an interim rule, amends the operating regulations of the Federal Subsistence Management Program in Alaska. The primary aspects of that Interim Rule, published June 12, 2001, expanded the authority that the Board may delegate to agency field officials and clarified the procedures for enacting emergency or temporary restrictions, closures, or openings. This Final Rule also corrects some inadvertent errors and oversights of previous rules.
