Abstract
OSM is approving an amendment to the Arkansas abandoned mine land reclamation plan (hereinafter referred to as the ``Arkansas plan'') under the Surface Mining Control and Reclamation Act of 1977 (SMCRA). The amendment consists of revisions to the Arkansas statute pertaining to the eligibility of project sites for abandoned mined land (AML) funds. The amendment is intended to revise the Arkansas plan to be in compliance with SMCRA.
