Abstract
OSM is approving a proposed amendment to the Indiana permanent regulatory program (hereinafter referred to as the ``Indiana program'') under the Surface Mining Control and Reclamation Act of 1977 (SMCRA). Indiana proposes to revise revegetation standards for success for nonprime farmland for surface and underground coal mining and reclamation operations under Indiana Code (IC) 13-4.1. The amendment is intended to improve operational efficiency.
