## Abstract

OSM is approving a proposed amendment to the Oklahoma regulatory program (hereinafter referred to as the ``Oklahoma program'') under the Surface Mining Control and Reclamation Act of 1977 (SMCRA). Oklahoma proposed a revision to its rules pertaining to procedures for assessment conference. The amendment is intended to revise the Oklahoma program to improve operational efficiency.
