## Abstract

The purposes of this rule are to improve compliance with the form submission requirements of the Reclamation Reform Act of 1982 (RRA) and the Acreage Limitation Rules and Regulations in order to ensure that irrigation water is delivered only to eligible landholders (landowners and lessees), and to recoup administrative costs that the Bureau of Reclamation (Reclamation) incurs due to noncompliance with the RRA reporting requirements. The rule adds a section that imposes fees on districts when they do not meet statutory and regulatory requirements for submitting RRA forms.
