Abstract
OSM is approving, with a reporting stipulation, a proposed amendment to the Missouri regulatory program (hereinafter referred to as the ``Missouri program'') under the Surface Mining Control and Reclamation Act of 1977 (SMCRA). The proposed amendment consists of revisions to the Revised Statutes of Missouri (RSMo) and the Code of State Regulations (CSR) along with supporting documentation and information pertaining to Missouri's alternative bonding system. The amendment is intended to revise the Missouri program to be consistent with the corresponding Federal regulations and SMCRA.
