Abstract

This rule revises requirements for preventing hydrogen sulfide (H<INF>2S) releases, detecting and monitoring H<INF>2S and sulphur dioxide (SO<INF>2), protecting personnel, providing visual and audible warnings, and training personnel. The rule also establishes requirements for H<INF>2S flaring. The revisions are necessary to keep up with current practices and technologies, and to enhance personnel safety and environmental protection.
