Abstract
OSM is approving a proposed amendment to the Virginia abandoned mine land reclamation plan (hereinafter referred to as the ``Virginia plan'') under the Surface Mining Control and Reclamation Act of 1977 (SMCRA). The proposed amendment is intended to streamline Virginia's total AMLR plan to be consistent with the Federal regulations.
