## Abstract

MMS published in the Federal Register of May 12, 1998, a final rule commonly known as the ``GVS rule'' that updated production measurement, surface commingling, and security requirements and made other amendments. The final rule was to become effective on July 13, 1998. This document corrects the effective date and makes two other technical corrections to the final rule. The rule will become effective on June 29, 1998.
