## Abstract

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is publishing this final regulation on bonding requirements for mining claims to comply with a Federal District Court order. This final rule is needed to remove regulatory provisions that were invalidated by the court and to restore the previously existing provisions that are currently in effect as a result of the court order. This rule does not affect a pending proposed rule regarding changes to Subpart 3809.
