## Abstract

OSM is approving, with certain exceptions, an amendment to the Indiana regulatory program (hereinafter referred to as the ``Indiana program'') under the Surface Mining Control and Reclamation Act of 1977 (SMCRA). Indiana proposed revisions to and additions of statutes pertaining to other State and Federal laws and permit revisions. Indiana intends to revise its program to incorporate the additional flexibility afforded by SMCRA and to provide the guidelines for permit revisions, including incidental boundary revisions.
