Abstract
We restrict public access and use of the public easements in the Moose Range Meadows area within the boundary of the Kenai National Wildlife Refuge (Refuge). This seasonal closure is necessary to prevent incompatible levels of bank degradation that occur along the easements due to intensive bank angling during the sockeye (red) salmon fishery each summer. We will prohibit public access and use on our managed easements from July 1 through August 15 annually.
