EE NEEDED TO TRAVEL THROUGH AIRLOCK DOORS TO EXAMINE THE 4TH-EAST SEALS. AS HE ATTEMPTED TO OPEN THE AIRLOCK, HE FELT PAIN IN HIS LOWER BACK. EE HAS A HISTORY OF BACK PROBLEMS, INCLUDING BACK SURGERY IN 1990. ON 10-30-00 EE SOUGHT MEDICAL ATTENTION AND WAS DIAGNOSED WITH ACUTE LOW BACK STRAIN. EE IS CURRENTLY WORKING ON RESTRICTED DUTY.
