AN ALLEGED FACE IGNITION OF COAL DUST OCCURRED IN THE #1 ENTRY OF 2-A. AN ORANGE FLAME WAS REPORTED IN MIDDLE OF CUTTING HEAD LASTING 3 TO 4 SECONDS & SELF-EXTINGUISHING. SULFUR WAS PRESENT IN THE FACE & AT THE BOTTOM OF THE COAL SEAM.
