BASED ON THE INFORMATION REC'D FROM THOSE PRESENT, IT APPEARS THAT THE IGNITION WAS CAUSED WHEN THE SPARK FROM THE CUTTING MACHINE (SHEARER) IGNITED AN UNKNOWN BLEEDER WHILE CUTTING COAL/ROCK AT OR NEAR SHIELD #57. NO INJURIES. MSHA NOTIFIED & INVESTIGATION CONDUCTED.
